Based out of Richmond, Virginia, Natural Astronaut is the musical project of Marcelo Asher Quarantotto. Some people call her Mars. As a child, her porteño father called her “space cadet” — so she came by the project name … naturally. A self-taught musician who relies less on genre and more on allowing emotional transmission to run its course. The songs have been referred to as ethereal, mythic annihilation.
